Course Overview
About this course:
Harassment is any behavior that demeans, humiliates or embarrasses a person, and that a reasonable person should have known would be unwelcome. It includes actions (e.g. touching, pushing), comments (e.g. jokes, name-calling), or displays (e.g. posters, cartoons).
This course will educate about harassment, how to identify it, and how it can be handled in the workplace.
Learning outcomes:
- Will be able to effectively handle any harassment complaints.
- Will have the ability to deal with employees that have substance abuse issues.
- Will have a clear understanding of the role that each person should play in respecting each other in the workplace.
